**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** Join our Cooling Department to manufacture heating and cooling units for a variety of industries. You will work individually or as part of a team to assemble entire products or components, starting in a general assembly role and using hand tools to assemble the exterior of the units. Training is provided to advance in wiring and testing units. Opportunities for certification in brazing are available, leading to potential raises. **Responsibilities** + Use hand and power tools to assemble products. + Utilize blueprints to assemble complex assemblies of cooling systems and mild steel enclosures. + Stand throughout the shift. + Perform rotational assignments as needed. + Participate in continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and assembling. + Ability to work with hand tools. + Familiarity with utilizing blueprints for assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Brazing experience or similar heat application experience such as welding is preferred. + 6+ months of assembly experience is a plus. + Any construction or hand and power tool experience is a plus. + Ability to submit to a BG check. **Why Work Here?** We offer excellent benefits including PTO, 401K matching, and health, vision, and dental insurance. Enjoy a pay raise after 90 days, with further raises upon permanent hire. **Work Environment** Work in a high-speed environment that is not an assembly line, focusing on building products from blueprints and brazing. Be prepared to move around and assist in multiple areas. The work is based in the Cooling Department with shifts from 7:30am to 3:30pm for first shift, and 3:30pm to 11:30pm for second shift. Expect overtime, potentially starting as early as 5:30am or working as late as 1:30am, with some mandatory Saturdays. Overtime is typically scheduled well in advance. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
