Do you have a knack for storytelling and a sharp eye for detail? We're looking for an Associate Creative Director to join our Creative Marketing team and help craft our promotional creative and ensure that every piece of content we release accurately reflects the campaign goals and objectives.

This hybrid role blends compelling copywriting, creative direction, and content quality control. You'll spend your time ingesting business goals and marketing creative needs and translating them into meaningful, ready to launch commercial creative, utilizing media captured by our internal team of creative producers.

You'll start the process by writing engaging commercial scripts-including product promos, store openings, and seasonal sales. The remainder of your time will be spent reviewing and refining video content, ensuring factual accuracy, visual freshness, and overall creative alignment.

You'll collaborate closely with our team of video editors and content creators, giving clear, constructive feedback and helping guide each piece to the finish line. From product overviews to editorial reviews, your writing and editing will shape how customers experience and connect with our brand.

What You'll Do

  • Write punchy, on-brand commercial scripts for product launches, in-store promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Stay in tune with brand messaging, product updates, and promotional schedules. Do the graphics look like our recent style guide? Was there an existing Figma design we missed, and didn't align to? Help flag it up front to safe time and make a harmonious campaign.
  • Cross-reference content against our footage library to ensure the most current and relevant visuals are being used.
  • Watch marketing and editorial video content such as product reviews and store promotions to flag factual errors, creative inconsistencies, or outdated footage.
  • Review and revise product overviews and editorial reviews for clarity, engagement, and tone.
  • Provide thoughtful and actionable feedback to video editors to help refine pacing, clarity, and storytelling.
  • Work with footage and content management systems to track asset usage and maintain visual consistency.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years in a marketing, content editing, or copywriting role-ideally with experience in video, retail, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for visual accuracy.
  • Ability to speak to technical creative changes such as transitions, music, or visual composition changes that would positively affect the creative.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into concise, engaging language.
  • Experience working with creative or video production teams, and the ability to give and receive feedback effectively.
  • A passion for the outdoor lifestyle and/or RV travel is a plus.
  • Familiarity with content management systems or footage libraries is a plus.

Perks

  • Hybrid schedule (in-office Lincolnshire, IL or downtown Chicago up to 3 days a week)
  • Work on exciting, fast-paced campaigns that reach nationwide audiences
  • Be part of a team that celebrates adventure, freedom, and the great outdoors
