We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Python scripting and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure to join our growing engineering team. You’ll play a key role in building, automating, and maintaining our cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments and high availability for our applications.
Key Requirements:
Primary Skillset:
Azure DevOps (must-have)
5-7 years of experience in DevOps
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
Solid Python scripting skills for automation
Familiar with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
Experience with Docker and knowledge of Kubernetes
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (like Terraform, ARM templates)
Comfortable working with APIs
Nice to Have: Spark experience (especially around deploying Python packages to Spark)
Soft Skills:
Strong self-starter, able to hit the ground running without much hand-holding
Can access current state and help build future best practices in Azure DevOps Environment
· Preferred Background: Financial services industry experience
· Supporting a workflow automation initiative
· Working on a project team, not IT initially
· Heavy use of Spark clusters and custom Python packages within Azure DevOps
Long-Term Outlook (If Converted):
· Would move into the IT team, working closely with business partners
