University of Geogia Small Business Development Center Business Consultant
The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is seeking a results-driven Business Consultant to join our Macon office. We’re looking for professionals with strong business knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. A desire to make a positive impact in the small business community is essential.
As a Business Consultant, you’ll work directly with business owners to provide expert guidance in areas such as financial analysis, business planning, marketing strategy, and operations management. You’ll also develop and lead educational programs tailored to the needs of the local business community.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (required)
Master’s degree preferred
Strong knowledge of core business functions (finance, marketing, operations)
Excellent communication and project management skills
Multi-county travel required
Location: Macon, Georgia - Multi-County travel is required
Salary: $80,000 + excellent benefits, including a defined benefits retirement plan
