About the Family & Social Services Administration (FSSA):
The Division of Mental Health and Addiction within the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) sets care standards for the provision of mental health and addiction services to Hoosiers. DMHA is committed to ensuring that clients have access to quality services that promote individual, family, and community resiliency and recovery.
The division also certifies all community mental health centers and addiction treatment services providers. DMHA operates six psychiatric hospitals (NeuroDiagnostic Institute, Evansville Psychiatric Children’s Center, Evansville State Hospital, Logansport State Hospital, Madison State Hospital, and Richmond State Hospital). DMHA provides funding support for mental health and addiction services to target populations with financial need and administers federal funds earmarked for substance abuse prevention projects.
Role Overview :
The Business Systems Consultant plays an essential role in the DMHA Data Strategy Team; this position is the only one on the team to do these duties. This role manages and helps develop documentation for all DMHA central office data systems (training, data policies, process flows, manuals, etc.). This role answers providers’ data questions and provides technical assistance to providers to increase their data quality and monitor the completeness of their data. This role gathers and documents DMHA program and user needs and translates them to application and reporting requirements. This role participates in application development and dashboard/reporting meetings and suggests improvements to increase data quality or completeness. This role puts together and submits data reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions to federal government entities. In addition, this role also develops data reports and presentations for providers, community stakeholders, and other state agencies.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $61,022.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
