Duties of the CAD Designer include:

Design products that meet the customer requirements and fall within manufacturing capabilities
Work with customers to determine designs that meet product demands
Make adjustments to designs based on customer needs
Use 3D and 2D to create product designs
Work with production to resolve design issues that prevent manufacturing
Formulate bill of materials
Be a point of reference regarding product design to both internal personnel and customers

Requirements for the CAD Designer include:

Previous 3D product design experience
Proven ability to communicate with internal and external personnel to achieve design needs
Mechanical aptitude and technical proficiency
