**Job Title: Commercial Door Installer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking all levels of door installers to join a large construction company. This is a long-term opportunity perfect for career-minded individuals looking to advance and grow within a company. The projects primarily involve lab, multi-family, and high- and mid-rise mixed-use construction, located mainly in downtown San Diego and the Carlsbad area.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install doors, frames, and hardware in various construction settings.
+ Handle fabrication and installation tasks with precision.
+ Work with hollow metal, knock down aluminum, and architectural flush/stile & rail doors.
+ Install both mechanical and electrified hardware.
+ Interpret project drawings and hardware schedules.
+ Ensure compliance with BHMA, ANSI finish designations, ADA, and fire code standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4-8 years of experience as a door installer.
+ Proficient in working with hollow metal, knock down aluminum, and architectural flush/stile & rail doors.
+ Experience with mechanical hardware is essential.
+ Understanding of electrified hardware and willingness to learn.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with fabrication and installation processes.
+ Experience in material management.
+ Understanding of door/frame/hardware standards and tolerances.
+ Experience with keying systems is preferred.
+ Preferred certifications include OSHA 10 or 30 hour, Fall Protection, CPR, or certifications from major hardware manufacturers.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
