A friendly and fast-paced pediatric dental office in Brooklyn is seeking a Dental Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face of the practice, supporting smooth front desk operations and ensuring a positive experience for the young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and families with a warm and professional attitude
• Answer phones, manage patient inquiries, and schedule appointments
• Verify insurance details and patient information before visits
• Maintain and update patient records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
• Handle appointment reminders, confirmations, and rescheduling
• Process payments and assist with basic billing tasks
• Communicate effectively with dental staff regarding patient needs and scheduling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly front desk area
• Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
• Open to working at a secondary location in Long Island once a week (travel reimbursement provided)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable interacting with children and families
• Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to travel to Hewlett once a week

Salary: $20-$25/hour
