As a DevOps engineer, you’ll be a foundational member of our engineering team, focused on building and maintaining a robust, scalable infrastructure that ensures our platform is reliable, secure, and performant. You’ll collaborate closely with our Head of Engineering, Head of Design, and fellow engineers to bring to life a user-friendly app that clarifies complex home expense management and builds long-term trust with our customers.
Your work will be crucial in providing a seamless experience for our customers as we handle their sensitive financial transactions and data. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about solving complex problems and contributing to an early-stage, high-growth company.
Core responsibilities include:
Managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure.
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Managing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
Contributing to our Django backend development.
Implementing security best practices and access controls.
Contributing to backend development as well.
What you'll need:
Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and related tools (e.g. Terraform, Docker, database systems).
Proficiency in Python and Django.
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
Understanding of security best practices.
Expertise in distributed systems and system design.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience building and shipping production applications.
Experience in consumer fintech preferred.
