Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Digital Merchandising Specialist to own the product presentation and customer experience across our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will be the guardian of our digital storefronts, managing the merchandising strategy for 5+ active Shopify stores, spearheading the merchandising setup for a new B2B Shopify store, and preparing our environment for future digital products.

Reporting to the Global Head of Digital Product, you will sit at the intersection of product data, user experience, and sales strategy. You won’t just upload products; you will craft the journey the customer takes from the homepage to checkout, ensuring every touchpoint is optimized for conversion and brand storytelling.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Store Management (Shopify Plus)

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of digital merchandising across 5+ consumer-facing Shopify stores.
  • Oversee product setup, including creating SKUs, writing product descriptions, uploading imagery, and managing variants, tags, and metafields.
  • Ensure pricing, currency, and inventory levels are accurate across different regional storefronts.

2. Visual Merchandising & User Experience

  • Curate collections and landing pages to support marketing campaigns, seasonal drops, and inventory goals.
  • Implement data-driven product sorting rules (e.g., Best Sellers, New Arrivals) to maximize Average Order Value (AOV) and Conversion Rate (CVR).
  • Optimize on-site search functionality (search synonyms, redirects, and results ranking) to ensure customers find what they need.
  • Audit the storefront to identify and resolve broken links, image errors, or display issues.

3. B2B & Future Product Expansion

  • Lead the merchandising structure and catalog segmentation for the launch of our new B2B Shopify store.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to define data requirements for future digital products, including mobile apps and loyalty portals.
  • Adapt merchandising strategies for different interfaces (Desktop vs. Mobile Web vs. App).

4. Data Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze sales performance, click-through rates, and inventory sell-through to make informed merchandising decisions.
  • Partner with the Digital Product team to run A/B tests on collection pages, product detail pages (PDPs), and upsell/cross-sell modules.
  • Provide weekly reporting on category performance and merchandising insights.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–4+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising or digital content management.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep proficiency in Shopify/Shopify Plus or similar is required. You should be comfortable navigating the backend, managing complex catalogs, and using apps.
  • Data Literacy: Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), business intelligence, and familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) or Shopify Analytics.
  • Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for visual consistency, typos, and formatting errors.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage workflows across multiple storefronts simultaneously without losing track of details.

Preferred Additional Skills and Experience

  • Experience launching or managing a B2B wholesale portal (like Shopify B2B).
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS and Javascript to make frontend changes.
  • Familiarity with PIM (Product Information Management) systems.
