Our client, an established consumer goods company in high-growth mode, is seeking an experienced
Amazon E-Commerce Account Manager. This role will be responsible for end-to-end Amazon Advertising account management and performance reporting. You will be supporting the day-to-day operations of the Amazon Retail account as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of data analytics, the ability to understand data/trends to make informed decisions, and a strong ability to articulate performance to influence the strategic direction of their investments. The ideal candidate has excellent business acumen/instincts and enjoys the challenge of how to grow and build a bigger and more robust business while looking to deliver big results. Must have deep Vendor Central experience and strong PPC understanding and execution with full-funnel strategy including creating campaigns, reading campaign data, and knowing how to optimize and how this impacts sales, SOV, rank, etc. This is a very hands-on role within a small team. This is an in office 3-4 day a week environment in NJ with the option of 1-2 days per week to WFH. The office is walkable from the train line in NJ, so someone without a car could easily commute from NYC, Hoboken, or Jersey City train hubs. The salary range for this role is $110-120,000 based on experience.
Responsibilities:- Hold end-to-end ownership of Amazon Advertising campaigns – specifically Sponsored Products, Brands, Display, and DSP, including campaign creation, reporting, optimization, and exit strategies
- Delivering growth and efficiency results with our Amazon Advertising, tracked via KPIs (including TACoS, ROAS, CVR, New-to-Brand, and more)
- Own Advertising spend/investment pacing and reporting, ensuring alignment with monthly budget
- Define, identify, and implement customer acquisition strategies including evaluation of market share and competition
- Serve as the single point owner for the selection and optimization of assets used in advertising campaigns to ensure the best customer experience
- Perform continuous exploration and testing of new growth tactics via campaign strategies, bring forward best-in-class practices and new industry insights, and anticipate competitor or algorithm/platform changes.
- Collaborate and lead calls with Amazon Retail, Amazon’s Advertising and 3rd Party Agencies, ensuring that our client is delivering on high impact workstreams with external partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Operations, and Finance teams to drive growth and execute business priorities
- Create, innovate, and deliver weekly and monthly reports and insights
- Troubleshoot listing issues, conversion, and Buy Box challenges with high urgency and precision
- Provide Amazon catalog and listing management including SEO optimization
- Act as a primary technical lead and trusted advisor to the e-Commerce sales team and internal teams
- Analyze ASIN-level performance and deliver actionable insights to the Amazon Channel Lead
- Serve as a proactive contributor
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience working with Amazon.com (1P and /or 3P) is required
- Minimum 5+ years working within the Amazon Advertising portal with proven experience of understanding and executing against an Amazon sales strategy
- Experience as single point owner or manager of multi-million-dollar investments/deployments
- Minimum of 5+ years of working in high-volume consumer goods or retail markets
- Demonstrated knowledge of analytical tools and dashboards with proficiency specifically in Excel
- Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly communicate how your actions are delivering against a business plan or company’s strategic direction
- Proven track record of problem-solving capabilities including solution finding and execution
- Proactive self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with ambiguity, to deliver results
