JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops, designs, implements and tests software of embedded devices and systems; monitors and enhances the efficiency and stability of the systems. Responsibilities The Service Technologies section delivers three releases per year labeled A, B and C (for example, 2026A, 2026B and 2026C) for the Windows based service tool, Remote Troubleshoot, and Local Troubleshoot products.

Implement application data for each release, as specified by internal Cat Electronics customers, for all products.
Implement calibration and service procedure data for each release, as specified by internal Cat Electronics customers, for all products.
Implement service tool simulation applications (i.e. Trainer) as schedule permits.
Apply engineering controls to implemented data, and resolve errata with workgroup Application Engineers, team lead, and/or Cat Electronics customers.
Develop and maintain the workgroup process documentation as required.
Develop and maintain workgroup and/or personal process tools as required.
Develop and maintain Cat Electronics facing process tools as required (e.g. OIP Information Services).
