Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description
The Embedded Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of software, primarily using C, in embedded applications for the space industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to projects that impact products destined for space. Must reside in CA and be ITAR compliant.
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop software using C for embedded applications.
+ Implement firmware in various types of regulated environments such as Aerospace, Defense, Space, Medical Devices, and Automotive.
+ Develop C code from scratch for embedded systems.
+ Utilize various RTOS, with a preference for FreeRTOS.
+ Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.
+ Employ tools such as Logic Analyzer and Oscilloscope for debugging and testing purposes.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in C programming language.
+ Experience with embedded C and firmware development.
+ Knowledge of RTOS and regulated environments.
+ 3+ years of development experience in embedded applications.
+ 2+ years of professional software development experience.
+ ITAR compliant
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
+ Working knowledge of Python is preferred.
+ Ability to work with microprocessors.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
