Introduction to the Role and Practice: Centraâs Stroobants Cardiovascular Center is an Endocrinologist to join our team!
You Can Expect: - Part of a large multispecialty cardiology & vascular clinic with integrated wound care, bariatrics, and endocrinology (94 providers total)
- Endocrinology team: 2 full-time physicians; 3 Advanced Practice Providers
- 15-18 patients per day on average in the clinic
- 12-hour call schedule - very conducive to a balanced life
- 2-3 rounding days in the hospital per month
- Potential clinical research opportunities
- Assistance from Advanced Practice Providers and Diabetes Nurse Educators
- A referral liaison to assist with introductions and management of relationships with referring providers
- Be included as an active member of our current metabolic group
- Administrative time for continued program growth and development
- Multi-disciplinary team approach

Required Qualifications - Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training in Endocrinology
- MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.

CMG is also home to the Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency, a training program for future family physicians, many of whom hold academic appointments with institutions like UVA, VCU, VCOM, and Liberty University.
