An Engine Performance Analyst job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor"s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent, and five years of experience in gas turbine component and system analysis and design. In this job your primary responsibility is turbine engine performance analysis and modeling for large gas turbine systems. You will report to the Belcan Cincinnati CFD/Performance Group Leader as a key member of an integrated product team to develop, optimize, integrate, deliver, and transition engineering designs to production. Job Duties:

• Generate and maintain ownership of gas turbine cycle deck models
• Ensure that models are systematically checked and validated.
• Perform analysis on advanced engine cycle models
• Perform engine cycle optimization trade studies
• Support operability and stability prediction and testing
• Collaborate on gas turbine component and system level design, including the assessment of detailed design changes on the whole system performance, reliability, and cost
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external customers as well as management and peers

Required:

• Bachelor"s degree in Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Five years of engine performance analysis experience on gas turbines
• Experienced with NPSS (Numerical Propulsion System Simulation)
• Capability to assess the quality and impact of design changes in the context of a larger system
• Due to the nature of our work US Citizenship is required

Preferred:

• Master"s degree in Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Previous experience with GE Aviation cycle performance tools
• Experience with transient cycle modeling and execution
• Seven or more years of experience in gas turbine industry
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $85,000 to $110,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
