Tashca – Portuguese Tavern & Wine Bar
The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for executing the menu developed by a prominent Head Chef from Portugal, ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail at every stage of service. This is an incredible opportunity to help build a project from the ground up, under the mentorship of a highly respected and talented Chef.
Tashca is a tavern-style eatery. The menu is intentionally simple, featuring fast-casual Portuguese bites alongside a small selection of more substantial dishes. While the food is approachable, execution standards are high.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute the menu with precision and consistency
Maintain quality, presentation, and timing during service
Support daily kitchen operations and service flow
Stay highly responsive in a fast-paced environment
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and food safety standards
Assist in training and guiding kitchen staff
Collaborate closely with front-of-house during service
