Summary

A major Japanese logistics company is seeking staff for its export department.
No prior experience is required—comprehensive training programs are available.

Essential Duties

• Handle customer inquiries via email and phone (primarily email)

• Support customers in coordination with the sales team

• Arrange domestic trucking and ocean freight for shipments requested by customers

• Confirm delivery deadlines

• Prepare customs clearance documents

• Perform other general office duties

This is a great opportunity to learn logistics operations from scratch, providing valuable experience for future career advancement.
Even if you have no prior experience, full training will be provided. (Most current staff started with no experience.)

Working Hours

8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No overtime)

Salary & Benefits

• Starting at $20/hour (higher salary negotiable based on logistics industry experience)
  Standard starting rate is $20/hour for those without industry experience; experienced candidates may be considered for up to $23/hour or more, depending on qualifications

• Health Insurance (PPO): 100% covered by the company for employees
  Spouse coverage not included, but optional at the employee's own expense

• Retirement Plan: Simple IRA (available after 1 year of employment)

• Paid Time Off:

  • Year 1: 5 days/year

  • Years 2–4: 10 days/year

  • Year 5 and onward: 15 days/year

• Bonus & Salary Review:

  • Annual bonus (based on company performance)

  • Performance evaluations held twice a year

Holidays

Weekends and national holidays (Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays)

Qualifications

• Basic PC skills
  (Composing emails, basic computer operations, and the ability to search and execute tasks online)

• English proficiency
  (Reading and writing ability is required; speaking ability can be flexible as long as communication is possible)

• Motivation and willingness to take on new challenges
