Job Description

Wilmington, DE, family is looking to employ a PART TIME Family/Household Assistant, beginning August 1, 2025, to assist with their busy lifestyle—someone not overbearing but pleasant with a sense of punctuality and excellence, especially with communication.

About the Family

Adults: 2, Mom has her business in/out of the home. Dad, Health Care Professional
Children: (B) 16
Dog: small, older, 13-year-old Maltese-Poodle, can't hear very well and often "uses the house as a bathroom"

Current Staff: Weekly house cleaning and landscape maintenance

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

• Petcare: Walk small dog as needed
• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required,
• Organizing: Organizing closets and spaces in the home.
• Meal Prep for Dinner, preparing (and rarely cooking) blue apron dinners
• Laundry: Yes, Family Laundry
• Errands: Yes, Dry Cleaners; Post Office, Etc.
• Driving: Yes, Required, take the family cars to be washed
• Household Maintenance: Being there for service people

Requested Duration: At least two years.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Part Time 30 hours, ideally Mon-Fri 10-3, however, open to making the schedule work for # of days, and or flexible with hours 
• Languages: English, MUST have excellent communication style AND be tech savvy
• Years of Experience
• Minimum of 2 References
• Background check upon contingent offer of hire

Position Compensation

• Salary: $35.-$45. hr
