Fintube Helper
Pay: $18/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 3:30pm (OT as needed)

Position Summary:
The Fintube Helper assists in the production, handling, and maintenance of finned tube bundles used in air-cooled heat exchangers. This position supports finning operations, section assembly, and quality control processes under supervision, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assist in finning operations and related processes.
• Support tube cleaning and preparation by using compressed air in reverse airflow to remove debris and optimize heat transfer.
• Handle materials, including lifting, moving, and staging bundles and sections as directed.
• Aid in inspection and maintenance of headers, plugs, and bundled tubes to ensure cleanliness and quality.
• Assist with repairs, such as plug replacement, tube re-rolling, and header maintenance, while maintaining safe work practices expected of a Fintube Helper .
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and comply with safety and environmental protocols.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Ability to lift heavy bundles and work in a factory setting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools/equipment.
• Team-oriented mindset with reliability and safety focus.
• Willingness to work with compressed air cleaning and assist in inspections related to finned tube bundles.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50lbs+ as needed.
• Stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, typical for a Fintube Helper position.
