Full Arch CAD Designer | Orange County, CA (On-site)

A well-established dental laboratory in Orange County, California is hiring a full-time Full-Arch CAD Designer . This role is ideal for a dental technician with advanced experience in Exocad and a strong background in full-arch, implant-supported restorations .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design full-arch implant-supported restorations using Exocad CAD software.
• Create monolithic zirconia, PMMA temporaries, bar-retained hybrids, and immediate load prosthetics.
• Interpret and evaluate clinician instructions, Rx forms, STL files, and scan data.
• Ensure all designs are functional, esthetic, and production-ready.
• Collaborate with clinical and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve case issues.
• Revise designs based on clinician feedback or internal quality control reviews.
• Maintain accurate digital documentation and organized case records.
• Stay current on CAD/CAM software updates and implant restoration techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience designing dental restorations, with a focus on full-arch prosthetics.
• Advanced proficiency in Exocad and STL file management.
• Deep understanding of restorative anatomy, occlusion, and implant workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple active cases in a high-volume lab environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and organizational habits.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Preferred Skills:

• CDT certification or formal training in dental lab technology.
• Familiarity with 3Shape, Dental Wings, or bar design software.
• Experience with 3D printing, milling systems, or analog-to-digital transitions.

Compensation and Incentives:

• $35 to $45 per hour , based on experience and skillset.
• $1,000 to $2,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.
