We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware Technician with a strong foundation in electrical or electronic engineering and hands-on experience in Python programming. The ideal candidate will support hardware design, testing, troubleshooting, and integration tasks, while also developing automation scripts and tools to streamline workflows. This is a key technical role that bridges hardware systems and software tools.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of hardware prototypes and systems.
Perform circuit board assembly, soldering, and basic rework.
Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other lab tools for troubleshooting and validation.
Write Python scripts for test automation, data acquisition, hardware control, or diagnostics.
Work with engineers to design and execute test plans for hardware components and systems.
Maintain and update documentation for hardware designs, test setups, and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, firmware, manufacturing, etc.) to support hardware bring-up and system integration.
Identify and resolve hardware issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience in hardware testing, diagnostics, and repair.
Proficient in Python with the ability to develop automation tools or hardware interfaces.
Familiar with circuit schematics, PCB layout, and EDA tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD).
Strong understanding of digital and analog electronics fundamentals.
Comfortable working with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.).
Hands-on soldering and prototyping skills.
Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Experience with embedded systems or microcontroller development.
Knowledge of Linux-based systems.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Exposure to hardware validation and production testing environments.
