**Hiring for Mechanic Apprentice Position** **Pay: 25 to 27$/hour** **Job Description** The Mechanic Apprentice reports to the Shredder Supervisor/Manager . This role responsible for assisting in repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment by conducting quality control analysis to evaluate performance while ensuring that all of his/her efforts are compliant with the company Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. The Apprentice must possess basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. This position operates under flexible parameters. The primary goal of this position is to achieve excellence in all facets of the position. Providing the highest quality product safely, effectively and efficiently decreases accidents and errors and increases profits. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment. + Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. + Record repairs and maintenance performed. + Repair and replace damaged or worn parts. + Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications. + Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment. + Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. **Please apply to the job posting by submitting your application.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
