The  DoubleTree San Jose is currently hiring for Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor!

Surrounded by the Santa Cruz Mountains to the west and the foothills of San Jose to the east, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose boasts a location vibrant with beauty and rich with culture, history, and diversity. Convenient located, less than a half mile from San Jose International Airport and 45 minutes from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This property offers 505 guest rooms, 48,000 sq. ft. meeting space and four food and beverage outlets.

• Classification:  Full-Time
• Shifts: weekends required
• Pay rate:  $24.24 for the first 90 days and $30.30 thereafter

The ideal candidate will have minimum of one year hotel housekeeping experience, schedule flexibility, previous supervisory experience is highly preferred.

What will I be doing?

A Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Lead, train and supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons on a floor or designated area to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards
• Assess inventory of, assign for cleaning and inspect rooms
• Verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms
• Monitor payroll reports, work schedules, lost and found program, stock rooms and carts and designated inventories
• Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/ Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas
• Perform Room Attendant and/or Houseperson duties, as needed
• Assist in performance evaluations of Room Attendants and Housepersons, as needed
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
