**Job Title: Industrial Cleaning Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a reliable and physically capable Industrial Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role is primarily outdoors and involves cleaning silos, plant grounds, and industrial equipment. Responsibilities include removing dust, fluid leaks, debris, spider webs, wasp nests, and general upkeep of facility grounds. You'll also perform light pest control and machine cleaning, and must be comfortable working at heights and climbing stairs up to 9 floors. **Responsibilities** + Clean silos and surrounding structures using appropriate tools and equipment + Maintain cleanliness of facility grounds, including removal of trash, debris, spider webs, and wasp nests + Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment per safety standards + Use industrial vacuums, air hoses, and hand tools + Wear and maintain proper PPE including fire-resistant clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and work pants + Work outdoors in various weather conditions + Climb stairs and ladders frequently, up to 9 floors + Lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly + Follow all company safety protocols and procedures **Essential Skills** + Comfortable working outdoors year-round + Able to lift 40 lbs and climb stairs frequently + Experience in industrial or plant cleaning preferred, but not required + Safety-conscious and dependable + High school diploma or equivalent preferred **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Cleaning + Painting + Debris removal + Lifting boxes + Groundskeeping + Restoration + Facilities maintenance + Repair + Landscaping + Septic + Construction + Clean up + Pressure washing + Vacuum + Pest control + Trash removal **Why Work Here?** Join a large company with room to grow and great benefits. You will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including a hard hat, steel-toe boots, fire-resistant clothing, safety glasses, and work pants. The job requires frequent climbing of stairs and ladders, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, and maintaining cleanliness in a physically demanding environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Alabama. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
