Pump Service Mechanic

**Key Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical equipment service, especially pumps and air compressors
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Experience in interpreting diagrams and schematics
- Proficient in operating test/measuring equipment
- Basic computer and wireless communication device skills preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, and 100 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to work independently, including travel and overnight stays as needed
- A clean driver's license and ability to pass background and drug tests

**Position Responsibilities:**

- Perform expert field service and repair on mechanical equipment
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to OSHA requirements
- Conduct equipment start-up commissioning and training
- Efficiently handle service documentation and communication via electronic devices
- Provide training to peers and serve as a mentor to new technicians
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle
