**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation and electrical controls in a highly dynamic environment.
- Electrical Journeyman certification or comparable industrial experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in the pulp and paper industry is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
- In-depth understanding of electrical and instrumentation control design theory.
- Proven ability to execute strategic thinking and maintain organizational excellence.
- Outstanding troubleshooting abilities for equipment failures and repairs.
- Ability to effectively manage priorities for both immediate and long-term objectives.
- Proficiency in using maintenance systems like i-Maint for processing work orders and managing equipment databases.

**Duties:**

- Champion safety programs and enforce rigorous safety standards.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Production and Maintenance teams from project construction to operational phases.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform preventive maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors to maintain operational goals.
- Participate in call-in work as required and ensure optimal equipment performance through regular maintenance.
