Job Description

This position is for an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. A minimum of two years of experience is required.

Responsibilities:

- Patient assessment and monitoring before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
- Medication administration and documentation.
- Assisting physicians with procedures.
- Maintaining sterile technique.
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the physician.
- Providing patient education and support.
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
