Title: JDE Project Manager

Duration: 9 months (likely to extend)

Location: Hybrid in Chicago (2x per week)

Skills: Order To Cash & Procure to Pay Implementation experience is a must and ideally JDE

We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Project Manager to support enterprise application initiatives centered on the JDE platform. This role will lead application-focused projects, working closely with business and IT teams to drive delivery, governance, and process alignment across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing JDE technology projects, is comfortable operating in a matrixed environment, and can partner effectively with stakeholders across multiple business units. This role sits within a growing PMO structure designed to bring clarity, alignment, and execution discipline to critical initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage JD Edwards application projects, including enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand JDE-supported business processes and translate needs into executable project plans.
• Coordinate work across IT, business teams, and third-party partners supporting JDE initiatives.
• Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and status reporting to ensure timely delivery.
• Apply Agile/Scrum project management practices where appropriate.
• Support governance and onboarding processes, ensuring adherence to established standards and workflows.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for assigned JDE initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams.
• Adapt to shifting priorities, with the ability to support additional JDE-related projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Required

• Proven experience managing JD Edwards (JDE) IT projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes supported by JDE.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• PMP or other project management certification.
• Experience working within a PMO structure or enterprise application portfolio.
