We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will help ensure all linens, uniforms, and clothing are cleaned, maintained, and returned in excellent condition. Location: Lititz, PA 17543
Schedule: Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, dry, fold, and sort clothes, linens, and other textiles according to established procedures.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or needed repairs and perform basic mending when required.
• Use appropriate detergents, cleaning agents, and water temperatures for different fabric types.
• Ensure laundry is processed in a timely manner to meet operational demands.
• Organize and maintain laundry inventory, including linens, towels, and uniforms.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 50 lbs.

Skills:

• Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemical handling.
• Basic sewing or mending skills.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong work ethic and reliability
