This is a Full-Timeposition at The Poplar in the Courtyard at CRISTA Senior Living in Shoreline, WA.
Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour, depending on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of The Courtyard's - Memory Care resident activities.  Provide life enrichment activities, including but not limited to, calendar and newsletter creation and implementation, visitations, activity planning and engaging residents and family in activities designed for living well.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES

• Create and publish newsletters.
• Proofread all weekly calendars.
• Implement Memory Care programs.
• Lead Memory Care activities.
• Schedule all scenic drives and outings with the transformation department.
• Manage the activity room reservations through Microsoft Outlook.
• Help with front desk coverage.
• Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and residents
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Conduct that reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

CHRIST CENTERED

• Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
• Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc).
• Prayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.
• Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
• Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).
• Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).
• Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.

EDUCATION

• High School Degree

EXPERIENCE

• Calendar and planning management.

SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE

• Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• Associates degree

EXPERIENCE

• Two years of experience working with Seniors & Dementia.
• Memory Care experience preferred.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

• CPR
• Food Handler’s
• Dementia and mental health certification training.
