Within CO+I, the Core Datacenter Services (CDS) team is responsible for improving overall availability and efficiency for Microsoft’s cloud business. We have multiple teams focused on both Microsoft and Lessor datacenter performance and all aspects of datacenter utilization effectiveness that includes power, water and labor.
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to support the Operational Supply Chain across datacenters globally. This role will own developing the strategy to scale and optimize our Transportation Management and Inventory Management systems to support critical environment spares and support Microsoft’s AI delivery for DC operations.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.

Responsibilities:
System Architecture and Data
Architects and drives the Transportation Management System implementation by working with internal and external teams to build core databases, establish and document processes, and provide rigorous testing, feedback, and adjustments.
Customer & Business Needs Analysis
Leads complex stakeholder research and engagement across multiple functional areas to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities. Uses these findings to integrate them into the logistics tool development and process roll out.
Product/Service/Solution Definition
Defines goals, success metrics, and prioritization for features and solutions within the logistics systems. Aligns core system functionality and deliverables with organizational strategy, manages risks, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to design integrated technical architectures.
Product/Service/Solution Development
Drives roadmap execution and feature delivery for the logistics system implementation, ensuring quality and compliance. Coordinates across teams to manage dependencies, schedules, and implementation plans.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Partners with stakeholders to collect and analyze system performance data. Uses insights to iterate and improve products/services, enhance supportability, and lead customer engagements for feedback and evangelism.
Engagement & Enablement
Supports deployment efforts through enablement activities, pre-launch socialization/feedback meetings, and partnership with internal development to align technical solutions with internal customer needs.
