Job Description

Salary: $30 / Hour The 1:1 SchoolLPN/LVN identifies and treats health disorders among students in the schoolsetting. The 1:1 School LPN/LVN provides instruction for the student's generalwellbeing and disease prevention. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student'sphysical conditions in the school setting and refers the student to appropriateresources as needed. The work of the School LPN/LVN is performed incompliance with his/her LPN/LVN scope of practice and according to stateeducation codes. Start August 2025 Minimum Requirements: + Current LPN/LVN license for the state in which the nurse practices + Current PPD or Chest X-Ray + One year prior professional nursing experience in school setting preferred + Pediatric experience preferred + Current BLS card + Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatment + Considerable knowledge of child growth and development + Some knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies + Some knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services + Understands the school organization and the community served + Must be at least 18 years of age Please note thatthis pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that willbe offered for this position based on the circumstances. The actual pay offeredto a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, includingbut not limited to location, experience, and other variable factors.
