**Electro-mechanical Technician** **Job Description** The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for the rapid manufacturing of sub-assemblies and finished systems, including cables, harnesses, panels, mechanical assemblies, or large system builds. The role involves system troubleshooting and diagnostics, interacting with test technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues. The technician must comprehend assembly documentation, utilize required tooling safely, operate material handling equipment, record system information, adhere to company policies, and engage positively with team members. Some finished systems may be large, necessitating physical maneuverability around the product. The ideal candidate is a positive, energetic, self-motivated individual ready to learn and contribute to the mission. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot technical issues with varying levels of complexity. + Have a working knowledge of electrical theory and signal processing. + Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, and other production-related documentation. + Solder wires, PCBA's, and components. + Utilize a combination of basic hand tools and power tools. + Utilize measuring tools such as multi-meters and continuity checkers. + Provide assembly feedback and suggest changes or improvements. + Complete build records and documentation as required. + Conduct quality checks on own work and possibly execute buddy checks on others' work. + Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization using 5S methodologies. + Follow manufacturing guidelines and procedures. + Adhere to company regulatory and compliance policies. + Participate in cross-training activities. **Essential Skills** + Soldering + Electrical + Mechanical + Wiring + Electronics + Schematic interpretation + Test equipment usage + Blueprint reading **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment + High school diploma or equivalent + Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance + ESD Awareness + Average computer skills for daily tasks + Current or expired certification in IPC 620, 610, 7711, 7721, or J-standard preferred **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued, and opportunities for growth and development abound.
