The Medical Assistant at Providence PACE supports nursing and primary care teams by performing both clinical and administrative duties to provide basic patient care for elderly participants. This role requires certification, phlebotomy training, and relevant healthcare experience while supporting community-based care programs focused on elder independence. Description
The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with the nursing team and primary care provider (PCP) to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned participants. Basic patient care needs will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. A MA is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
