Innova Solutions is partnering with a client that is actively seeking to hire an experienced Mortgage Underwriter

Job Title: Mortgage Underwriter

Employment Type: Full-time (Contract)

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Dublin, CA – Hybrid Schedule

Alternating weekly:

• Week 1: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
• Week 2: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite conventional home loans in alignment with Credit Union guidelines, investor requirements, and federal/state regulations
• Monitor and adapt to changes in underwriting standards, regulatory policies, and private mortgage insurance guidelines
• Conduct thorough audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of loan files
• Deliver exceptional service to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Respond promptly to inquiries and follow through to resolution
• Ensure underwriting timelines are met based on loan volume and organizational standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Familiarity with Desktop Underwriter and loan origination systems preferred
• Ability to pass a background check, which will include a Credit Check

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: Between $24-27per hour>

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
