Perform MRI scans accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Review patient data and physician requests to select optimal scanning protocols
Screen patients for contraindications and prepare them properly for imaging
Administer contrast agents following regulations
Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and document findings promptly and accurately
Education:
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
ARRT certified with advanced MRI registry
Maintain active certification by completing required CEUs on time
Hold active state licensure, if applicable
CPR certification required
Experience:
Minimum 0 years as an MRI Technologist (required)
2+ years of MRI experience preferred
