Summary

Our child-centered, play-based philosophy is focused on a team approach with the goal of providing engaging experiences and excellent care for children ages 3-5 years. Teacher Assistants work closely with a team of full-time Co-Teachers and receive coaching and mentoring on a consistent basis.

Duties

Classroom Specific Responsibilities:

• Serves as a supportive role with the classroom team.
• Support children's engagement in the indoor and outdoor classroom environment.
• Communicates respectfully with children and co-workers.
• Ensures the general safety and well-being of the children.
• Assists with light housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information
• Dependable and punctual
• Relates well to young children and their needs

Nice To Haves

• Coursework in child development or education
• previous experience working with young children
