Part-Time Security Officer – Reading, PA
Location: Reading, Pennsylvania
Position: Security Officer
Schedule:
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $16.25 per hour
Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO)
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team in the Reading, PA area. This part-time role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining safety, has a strong presence, and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned premises to ensure safety and security
Monitor entrances, exits, and surveillance equipment
Respond to incidents and follow established protocols
Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and the public
Write accurate daily activity and incident reports
Requirements:
Must pass a clear background check – no felonies or misdemeanors
Must have a valid driver’s license
Strong, professional demeanor
Dependable and punctual
Team player with excellent communication skills
