This Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to post-surgical patients in a urology surgery center, focusing on patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and a fast-paced work environment adaptability are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Providing post-operative care to patients in the PACU.
- Assessing patients' vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition.
- Administering medications as ordered by physicians.
- Monitoring patients for any complications or adverse reactions.
- Collaborating with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
- Educating patients and their families about post-operative care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a PACU RN.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency in Cerner (Electronic Health Record).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
Special Considerations:
- The position is for a 13-week assignment.
- Work schedule is 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
