Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN)

A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Panama City, FL.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary range: $26.40 - $39.60 15+ years depending on experience. If you have CNA, LPN, Surg Tech, or Paramedic experience it will count towards your RN experience

Responsibilities

• The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides preoperative and post-operative nursing care.
• Serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

Requirements

• Current FL RN License required or appropriate compact licensure. If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
• Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. ASN required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year acute care PCU experience OR 3 years of Med Surg experience. 
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
