Lowe Orthodontics, is a fast paced and busy orthodontics office. We not only change your smile – we transform your life. We believe that a smile is the most important thing you wear, and we want you to wear yours proudly. We are currently looking for a Registered Dental Assistant for our office.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday
• 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take and develop x-rays as directed by the orthodontist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Order and manage dental supplies, ensuring that the office remains well-stocked and organized.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support administrative duties as needed, including answering phones, greeting patients, and processing payments.
• Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Valid RDA license and certification in CPR and other relevant dental certifications as required by law.
• Previous experience in Orthodontics is required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols.
• Proficient in taking digital radiographs and familiar with dental software systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
