Job Title: Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Pennsylvania required) Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant to support a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP FICO , with hands-on experience in FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) , Funds Management (FM) , and Project Systems (PS) . This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support SAP FICO functional activities , including configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Provide strong functional expertise in FI-CA , including account determination, billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Work extensively with SAP Funds Management (FM) to support budgeting, commitment management, and financial controls.
• Support SAP Project Systems (PS) integration with FI/CO for project costing, settlement, and reporting.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-go-live activities.
• Work with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, and issue resolution.
• Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices and business requirements.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and functional guidance to client teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP FICO functional experience
• Strong expertise in FI-CA (FICA) module
• Solid experience with Funds Management (FM)
• Working knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS)
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Finance
• Strong understanding of FI/CO integrations with other SAP modules
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Pennsylvania

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in public sector or utilities (FI-CA exposure)
• SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation experience
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
