Sunburst Solar is immediately hiring a Solar Sales Appointment Setter to join our award-winning team.

Description:

Sunburst Solar ishiring a select number of Sales Appointment Setters to join our award-winning team.You will work homeowners to schedule qualified appointments for our amazing Sales Team. Your responsibility is not to close sales, but only to contact interested customers to schedule a free Solar proposal. No cold calling or telemarketing!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner to learn about homeowners needs.
• Set appointments with homeowners to review their solar proposal.
• Help homeowners lower their current power bill.
• Conduct outbound calls to convert an inquiry to an appointment.
• Review CRM and messages to contact homeowners in a timely manner.
• Schedule appointments, as needed, correctly - review appointment date, and time with caller.
• Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry clients, as needed.
• Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that clients feel supported and valued.
• Understanding of when to escalate calls.

• All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone.
• Ability to handle a "call center" environment: work quickly and multi-task.
• Ability to exercise good judgment to handle calls appropriately and demonstrate good customer service.
• Previous experience in a customer support/sales role.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
• Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
• Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills.
• Ability to ask questions and pitch a sale.
• Strong time management and decision-making skills.
• Adaptability and accountability.
• One year of experience in in sales/customer service
• Preferably Bilingual
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Polite, professional phone voice.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
