Survey Technician - Construction Calculations

St. Louis Metro $65K-$75K + Bonus Health Coverage + PTO

This role puts you at the heart of development, ensuring that grading, utilities, pavement, and building layouts are executed with precision. Joining a 75+ year surveying and engineering firm , you'll support diverse commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects - while advancing your technical expertise in construction calculations and layout.

What You'll Do

• Prepare construction calculations for grading, utilities, pavement, and building layouts.
• Draft and manage layout deliverables in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Verify as-built construction against design plans.
• Translate civil, architectural, and structural drawings into precise field data for crews.
• Coordinate with contractors, superintendents, and project managers.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of combined experience in construction layout and calculations.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and agency standards.
• Field survey experience a plus.
