Position Summary...
Join Sam’s Club as a Senior Manager, Creative, where you’ll lead the charge in shaping experiential brand moments that captivate millions of members. Reporting directly to the Director, Creative, you’ll drive creative innovation for events, evergreen campaigns, and experimental activations that redefine retail engagement. This is your opportunity to influence how members experience our brand—beyond communication—through immersive design and storytelling.
What you'll do...
- Lead Experiential Creative : Own the development of creative assets for high-impact events, evergreen campaigns, and experimental initiatives that push boundaries.
- Drive Brand Innovation : Translate strategic briefs into bold creative concepts that elevate member experiences across digital, physical, and social touchpoints.
- Collaborate Across Teams : Partner with Marketing Strategy, Customer Experience, and external agencies to deliver integrated campaigns that scale.
- Manage Creative Execution : Guide a team of designers and writers to deliver on time, on budget, and on brand—while fostering a culture of creativity and growth.
- Champion the Member Experience : Think beyond traditional advertising to design creative solutions that influence how members interact with our brand in-store and online.
- Experiment & Evolve : Test new ideas, formats, and technologies to keep Sam’s Club at the forefront of experiential retail.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven Creative Leadership : 7+ years in creative roles with at least 3 years managing teams; retail or agency experience preferred.
- Experiential Expertise : Strong portfolio showcasing event activations, brand experiences, and innovative campaigns for leading brands (REI, IKEA, or similar).
- Strategic Thinking : Ability to connect creative ideas to business objectives and member insights.
- Collaborative Mindset : Skilled at building relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Adaptability & Growth Orientation : Thrive in a fast-paced environment where innovation and scale are key.
- Technical Skills : Familiarity with creative tools, production processes, and emerging technologies that enable experiential design.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
