Maintenance Technician 🛠️ | Barrington Place at Somerset (Montgomery, AL)

 

Pay: $23–$24/hr (DOE) + On-Call Pay + Quarterly Bonus (Up to $750/Quarter)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM | On-Call Rotation (1 week every 4 weeks)
Location: 280 New Haven Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36117

What You’ll Do 🔧 

• Complete work orders promptly and efficiently
• Turn/make ready apartments between occupancies
• Perform interior & exterior painting/staining
• Handle HVAC needs, preventative maintenance, and general repairs
• Maintain clean and safe property grounds and shop
• Assist with on-call emergency coverage (rotating)

What You Need 🏆 

• 1+ years of maintenance experience (required)
• HVAC Certification, EPA License, and/or CPO Certification (preferred)
• Skills in:
• Drywall, carpentry, and painting
• Plumbing (including sweating copper pipe)
• Electrical (outlets, switches, fixtures)
• Appliance repair (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, disposals)
• Water heaters (gas & electric)
• Ability to demonstrate basic maintenance skills during interview
