Job Title: Broadcast Marketing Producer - WSB TV

Position Overview

Are you a talented production producer who excels at creating high-quality marketing? WSB-TV Channel 2, the #1 television station in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a dedicated and creative individual who can write, shoot, light, edit, and bring visual stories to life. If you're a skilled cinematographer, who is passionate about producing dynamic content using professional-grade production equipment and can dive deep in the Adobe Creative Suite and Avid, we want to hear from you! While experience in television news promotion copywriting is preferred, we are willing to train a candidate who shares our commitment to excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for producing a variety of engaging projects, from daily news and weather marketing content to compelling special investigations and brand image promotional spots
• Your expertise in shooting and lighting will help elevate our storytelling, while your editing skills will ensure our content is polished and professional
• Work alongside a creative team of producers and the news department to deliver impactful, visually stunning content
• This position offers the opportunity for growth as you hone your skills and take on more responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in video production with a focus on shooting and lighting 
• Proficiency in editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere and Avid 
• Experience with After Effects is a plus
• Strong writing skills that complement your visual storytelling skills
• A reel showcasing your production work is mandatory
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Drone pilot experience is preferred. FAA certification is a plus
• Previous experience as a broadcast marketing producer is preferred 
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
