Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Dental Office Assistant to be the welcoming face of our practice. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
+ Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.
+ Schedule and manage appointments using Dentrix and other scheduling tools.
+ Verify patient insurance and handle related documentation.
+ Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
+ Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, and clerical tasks.
+ Manage front desk operations and ensure a tidy and efficient workspace.
+ Utilize Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Outlook for various administrative tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Strong administrative support and data entry skills.
+ Proficiency in Dentrix software.
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Outlook.
+ Ability to verify insurance and handle related administrative tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience as a dental office assistant or in a dental front desk role.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Work Environment
This position is based in a dentist office. The role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with benefits and a 401k plan. The work environment is professional and patient-focused, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
