Description Technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site.
We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Avondale, AZ).

- Completing repair activities on generators or components
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of service
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
Responsibilities (Advanced): - Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems.
- Understanding switchgear schematics.
- Able to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics.

6:00am - 4:00pm

On-Call Rotation
Networking, Startup, Remote Monitoring And Paralleling Experience Preferred AZDOT Medical Card Required
DOT - A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
