Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques and practices, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves assembling, building, and installing various structures and fixtures, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all projects.

Duties :

  • Finish carpenter should have experience with high end custom remodel homes and proficient with finish work including but not limited to: trims, cabinets, flooring, etc.
  • Assemble and build wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures according to specifications and schematics.
  • Perform cabinet installation and ensure proper alignment and functionality.
  • Conduct water damage restoration tasks as needed, including repairing or replacing damaged materials.
  • Install stucco and other exterior finishes to enhance building aesthetics and durability.
  • Carry out fixture installation for various applications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Execute construction painting tasks, applying finishes that meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, utilizing hand tools safely and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with cabinet installation processes and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
